Jazzfest timing this year is again prior to Bluesfest.

In 2011, it runs from June 23 to July 3.

The primary site is Confederation Park with performances also at the National
Arts Centre, National Gallery of Canada, Rideau Centre, World Exchange Plaza,
Crowne Plaza Hotel, 101 Lyon Street (late night jams) and area bars and clubs.
Some of the sites may change from year to year.

Besides the imported greats, Ottawa has it's share of the more low-key greats
in the jazz medium. Don't miss some of Ottawa's fine jazz talent at Confederation
Park, at the National Arts Centre studio and elsewhere who may normally appear
at the Rideau Centre, World Exchange Plaza or an area bar or club Also don't miss
the late night jams at ARC Lounge in ARC The Hotel 140 Slater Street hosted by
Ottawa musicians like John Geggie where out-of-town artists and local artists
get together to create some great jazz.
