Cumberland Arms
In Orleans
For Food & Blues

Besides the better than average taste treats cooked up by its kitchen staff and a good selection of cool brewed beverages, the Cumberland Arms usually does it's bit every Tuesday in summer with L'il Al Tambay on the patio (weather permitting) to help provide a place in Orleans to hear your favourite acoustic blues tunes.

Often as well on Fridays bands such as L'il Al's Combo and Shakedown Groove Band are featured regularly.

Cumberland Arms Pub is at 260 Centrum Blvd (613) 834-8378 in the Orleans Shopping Center area. If you live in the area or even beyond and want to give the music and food a try, drop by Tuesdays around 8 pm or Fridays about 9 pm and see if you don't agree that this place is a bit of a hidden treasure.

This is one of the regular bands, L'il Al's Combo with singer, songwriter and guitarist extraordinaire Al Tambay, Bruce Saunders on drums and Steve Rae on bass generating their special brand of musical fun.

Below right, Shakedown Blues Band does an acoustic performance with Eric David on vocals, Mark Alcorn on guitar and Marilee Townsend on drums.

This is Al Tambay with his Tuesday summer acoustic patio performance joined by some of Ottawa's blues fans/musicians for a blues jam.
