    East Side Trio is a jazz trio based on the saxophones of Ralph Hopper - alto, tenor, soprano and baritone - along with a small group of musicians on call for various jazz gigs. This group of musicians includes Amy Brandon, guitar; Garnett Picot, guitar; Theo Chan, bass; Howard Tweddle, bass; Derek Ireland, piano; Bert Waslander, piano - and others. They also perform as a quartet and quintet and can tailor a performance to a clients needs.

    • The trio has been performing every Thursday evening since September 2005 at 'Eighteen', a fine restaurant at 18 York St in the Byward Market
    • It has also performed at the Brookstreet Resort in Kanata in addition to many private functions and parties.
    • East Side Quartet has been booked for the 2006 Ottawa International Jazz Festival.
