To use these Yahoo list services, you first have to use the Subscribe address. Just send an empty e-mail to the address with no subject or content.

You'll get an e-mail confirmation request. Do what it says and you'll be added as a subscriber. Then, you can use the posting address. Be forwarned that you may sometimes get a flood of e-mails at least from the MapleBlue list service.

If you want to avoid this, you can use any blocking or filtering processes available, for example, the Mail Rules of Outlook Express to eliminate or minimize the volume of postings you have no interest in.
