Tracy K (Mojomama)
Canada's First Lady of
the Blues Harp at
Ottawa's Rainbow Bistro

Fan to the 'Bow' before the show:

"Just looked at your Web site and noticed that Tracy K is scheduled to appear at the Rainbow "Soon". I just wanted to say that I am REALLY looking forward to seeing/hearing her perform. I have bought three copies of her c.d., but each time, a friend of mine has ended up with my copy... Her voice is amazing and her music is beautiful. I have also heard from people who have seen her perform in Winnipeg that she puts on quite a live show. I will be sure to attend her performance, and will let everyone know that she is coming. THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY DAY!!!!!!"

Jim after the show:

Talk about a great voice! Besides being the most Joplinesque voice I've heard from other than perhaps Janice on the Janice songs, Tracy gave a very hot edged vocal performance in a variety of her own and cover songs on which she added her definite Tracy K stamp. Tracy's a sizzling vocal powerhouse, with style and an obvious ability to move an audience. Her command in delivering the most razor-edged songs became obvious from the first number. Tracy and her Right Hand Band with her blues harp complimenting her vocals rocked the Rainbow on Friday 22nd February.

Not all the show was blues, but in the blues tunes, Tracy lived up to her moniker as 'Mojomama'. The show was a balance of blues, rock, country and some jazz.

If you missed Tracy this time, be sure to catch her on her next tour to Ottawa. I'm certain she'll be back.

I've got a copy of Tracy's CD, "Welcome to My Fantasy" with all songs composed and produced by Tracy and I'm holdin' on to it. Great sound, great songs!!
